This webserver hosts realtime magnetic field data obtained by a magnetometer based on Stefan Mayer FLC-100-70 sensors and an 18-bit DAQ using Microchip MCP3424 A/D converters. The system allows for a resolution of 0.5 nT. It is rather robust against temperature changes and is very compact at 10 x 10 x 10 centimeters size. This magnetometer is co-located with Magnetometer Stockholm, situated in the North of Stockholm. These data can be used to assess the current local magnetic field disturbance and hence the possibility of local northern lights.
